Many people by now have heard of the open source project from Google called Chromium OS. Google will take from that source code and work with OEM developers to create a proprietary product, Google Chrome OS. Although there are several distro's (flavors) of Chromium OS floating around the web, many of them are dated and lack sufficient hardware support That is where stratus0s* steps in. Our project goal is to keep our OS up to date with the latest that Google has to offer, Tweak the UI for a more pleasant and efficient platform, and supply as much hardware support as is possible.

Hardware support will get better with future releases. However if you do find you are having troubles, please feel free to contact us at developers@stratus0s.org and we will gladly look into a solution and work with you to test that solution for a following release/update.

The images below are sample screen shots taken from an early build of the browser for Stratus0s. As you can see we have incorporated Google's newest updates and installable web apps are possible.

Also we have an extensive library of Web Apps that will be available, 25+ by launch. Now the majority of these apps are created by other developers in the app community. We do have thec apability to create our own web apps, and we would like to hear from users and future users to contact us at developers@stratus0s.org with suggestions.
